X-plorations vol. 2 for JP8000/8080
FACTS:
64 High Quality Trance/Techno Sounds; programmed by Manuel Schleis.
Avoidance of clicks in attack (typical JP-sickness)

A soundbank for Roland JP8000/8080 synthesizers. A very fat and crisp sounding synthesizer which is the reference for trance music since years. It has just one negative attribute - it clicks in the attack phase! You have to adjust the attack and release times very carefully. I have eliminated every click in this soundset in this way - even when the LP filter is completely down!

Before you use the soundset you have to be sure, that LFO Sync, Chorus Sync, Delay Sync is set to "off" (You will find it by pressing shift+2) It can falsify the sound!

This is a "Patch-Bank" not a "Performance-Bank", so you can switch to "dual mode" an layer two sounds. (for example "Corridor 2" with "Megavoices" - Awesome!!)

For owners of X-Plorations volume 1:

X-plorations Volume 2 does NOT overwrite your Volume 1. V2 is for user bank B and V1 is for user bank A. So you can use both sets simultaneously

Important for Mac User:

X-plorations Volume 2 functions only 75%, if you dump the soundset with your sequencer as a standart midi file. Some sounds are not working ("checksum error") I don´t know why this happens (a JP bug?) I have tried everything out - without success. The set only works 100%, if you dump the sounds with the PC programm "WinJPLib" (I include this programm in the soundset zip) But this programm is for PC only. I recommend, that Mac user should look for a friend, who owns a PC + Midi interface.
